I didn’t go the usual route with Gymnastics. I wasn’t your average child gymnast or successful prodigy. In fact I didn’t have really anything to do with Gymnastics for most of my life. That is unless you consider the Greek definition of Gymnastics? I did however become introduced to gymnastics a little over ten years ago, but from a coaching perspective. I was fascinated and considered myself too old and frankly scared to participate so I began teaching, specifically tumbling. Quickly it became a passion, it was a gift to be able to teach someone a skill they could have and remember the rest of their life.  This is what brought me directly to CrossFit in fact. I needed a better way to train, to keep up with my athletes. I recognized the gymnastic elements of CrossFit and I was sold. 10 years later and I can truly say that Gymnastics and CrossFit have changed my life. Not only am I fitter, faster, healthier and learning new skills at my age, It has provided me the unparalleled opportunity of owning my own gym and to travel the world sharing and doing what I love. Creating new Coaches. I believe that it’s the greatest accomplishment of a coach when they can be instrumental in the development of a new coach. I represent the masses I teach, I hope to instill in every one of you that just because Gymnastics wasn’t your background, it can still be your passion, and you can be damn good at it.

Pursue your passion, chase what you love, and never second-guess, you have no idea what your capable of and everyone will gladly tell you what your not. Unless its Pirates, don’t chase pirates!
