The Open is Upon us.  I will try to give any relative insight I can to the workout from our perspective on the Gymnastics side. Truth is there will be no shortage of tips and videos for this workout, because everyone has something to say. The best advice I can give you is more CrossFit, if you have spent enough time developing your "CrossFitness" this needs not be dwelled upon. From a gymnastics perspective some consideration will come in the Overhead position. A closer grip should allow your shoulders a better resting position. This is only a consideration if you have been working that Handstand position though. If you have a poor overhead, stay wide and keep the chest up by all means. Its 7 or 8 steps each trip. The key to the workout will be managing the heart rate at the ends of each lunge. Stay deliberate but hold a pace in the burpees. The C2B same applies. However if you aren't capable of large sets fresh, I will advise breaking the sets from the beginning, to manage failure, and heart rate. Its 20 mins the key is to stay moving. Pursue the workout with an effective pace and you will prevail.
