Todays work calls for additional weight. This is a fairly common prescription in competitive CrossFit and not so much in traditional Gymnastic training. Although it certainly stands to reason that progressive overload will lead to increased strength, it doesn't alway lead to increased technique. Which above all else is the most important. By that determination, only ever add weight to gymnastics skills if required reps and sets can be performed virtuously. Maintenance of the hollow is imperative.
